Thatgamecompany was founded by Chinese game developer Jenova Chen and Kellee Santiago. The company has also released hit titles Flow and Flower and Journey. NetEase is a major backer of the company, as well, and it promised in September to bring Sky: Children of Light to China.

We tested the beautifully-designed game back in March when it was available as a beta. The full game was released in July on iOS, and there are also planned releases for macOS, Windows and consoles.
