Black Shark’s CEO Wu Shimin told Chinese tech news site 36Kr earlier in July that Black Shark’s 5G phone will be launched in the first half of 2020. There is no information about the phone’s specs yet.

Most Chinese smartphone vendors have already launched 5G phones this year. But 2020 may be a better year to buy them, as 5G networks spread and handsets get cheaper. Black Shark isn’t officially available in the US, but some handsets can be found on Amazon.
