French blog MacGeneration said that Mac Pros delivered in Europe are embossed with the words “Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in China.” That seems to confirm an earlier suspicion that Mac Pro units made in Austin, Texas are only shipped to customers in the US, Canada and other countries in North and South America. Last month, the company said those Mac Pros would ship to customers “across the Americas.”

US President Donald Trump, who has long been urging Apple to manufacture in the US, recently visited Apple’s production facility in Texas and touted it as an accomplishment of the heavy tariffs he imposed on China.
