OnePlus reveals more details about TV ahead of September launch

We’re learning more about the upcoming TV set from OnePlus. Founder and CEO Pete Lau tweeted out yet another photo showing what looks like a cylindrical stand attached to the back of the display. This comes just a few days after he posted a picture of the TV’s remote control, which seems to have taken some design cues from Apple TV’s Siri Remote.

The OnePlus TV is scheduled to launch this month, starting in India. A product listing on Amazon India indicates that it will feature a 55-inch 4K QLED screen and eight speakers with Dolby Atmos support. It will run on Google’s Android TV operating system, according to a Bluetooth certification.

OnePlus says it has plans to bring the TV to North America, Europe and China once it establishes partnerships with regional content providers.
