Apple has never built 5G infrastructure, but US President Donald Trump hopes they’ll do it anyway.

“They have it all - Money, Technology, Vision & Cook!” Trump posted on Twitter.

Huawei founder and CEO Ren Zhengfei has long been an admirer of Apple, though, and his family uses Apple devices. Ren was even photographed recently with an iPad at an airport in China. But his love of Apple doesn’t seem to be helping him in Washington, where politicians are seeking to end subsidies for telecom companies using Huawei or ZTE equipment.
